Kapha types easily build endurance but may gain weight quickly due to slow metabolism (manda agni). Their bodies possess natural resistance and immunity.

Skin and Hair

Kapha skin is typically oily, cool, soft, and thick. It rarely wrinkles early and ages gracefully due to strong hydration and elasticity. However, the oiliness can lead to congestion, acne, or enlarged pores. Kapha hair is thick, lustrous, silky, and abundant—often wavy or straight, resistant to dryness and premature greying. Nails are strong and well-formed.

Eyes

Kapha types have large, round, calm eyes with thick lashes and a serene, soft gaze. Their eyes are often dark brown or deep black, and the sclera (whites of the eyes) is clear and bright, reflecting Kapha’s gentle and nurturing temperament.
