On the basis of the 30-years Programme of the Hungarian Ayurveda Medical Foundation (HAMF) and in frame of the Indo-Hungarian Health Agreement (first signed on the 10/12/2001, renewed on the 18/01/2008) the Indian Ministry of Health (AYUSH) has delegated three ayurveda experts to Hungary in order to give professional training in Ayurveda to Hungarian wellness companies wishing to offer ayurvedic treatments.

During their staying (27th of May – 11th of July) in Hungary, the members of the delegation – Dr. Surinder Katoch ayurveda doctor and two masseur-specialists (Mr. S. Unnikrishnan and Mr. O.P. Sharma) – taught the basics of ayurvedic medicine, lifestyle and massage to the hosting companies, according to the programme pre-planned together with the Hungarian Wellness Association.

All hosting companies shall officially use the word „Ayurveda” in their treatments offered, according to the certificate issued by the Hungarian Ayurveda Medical Foundation, and countersigned by the AYUSH-experts.
